She's spent the best part of a decade at the wheel, and in that time the studio has turned out well over three and a half thousand individual pieces — mugs, bowls, vases, the odd fallen ceramic angel — with a five-star reputation built almost entirely on word of mouth and repeat buyers.

The process itself is as much the point as the pottery: clay is slow, messy and a little unpredictable, and Sally treats that as a feature, not a flaw. No two glaze pours land the same way twice, which is exactly why regulars keep coming back to see what's new on the shelf.
